So gamers got used to cranking the graphics options all the way up and getting 60FPS on their 4 year old PC (even though the games looked just like the console counterpart, or only marginally better). In the past 5 years however so many games were developed with last gen consoles as the lead platform that they didn't push modern computer hardware. In the "old days" when a PC game came out and you cranked up all the graphics options and the game ran bad, you went out and upgraded your computer. Honestly, last gen consoles created an annoying phenomenon. We're not dealing with last gen consoles here. Q: Are you going to reduce the graphical quality on the PC version because you are making a PS4 version?Ī: Short answer - heck no! Longer answer, the PS4 is a powerful machine, much more powerful than the PC min spec. Just noticed a new thread on TWI's forums where the developers do a quick Q&A. Maybe these are still alpha screenshots, so the finished product may look less "plastic". I'm not a developer so I dont know why that is, but it's one of the things I hate about the UE3 engine and games. They don't have much detail and give off the VERY typical Unreal Engine 3 "plastic" look that easily identifies many UE3 engine games. The only thing I really hate from a graphical standpoint is the skins from the videos. The KF1 skins look much better despite the archaic graphics.
